How to fix Android’s “Error 963”

When browsing Google’s Play Store, you are bound to get the “Error 963” message. Don’t worry, here’s our solution to the problem.

 

1) Clear cache and data for Google Play

Go to Settings – Apps – All – Scroll and look for

-   Google Play Store

-   Google Play Service

-   Google Service Framework

 

And select Clear Cache and Clear Data. Now go on Play Store and check if the problem persists. If you still see the error message, continue reading..

 

2) Unmount your SD Card

Go to Settings – Storage – Unmount SD Card.

Now try to install the app that shows the Error 963 message. Once it’s successfully installed, you can go to Settings – Storage – Re-mount the SD Card

 

3) Uninstalling the newer updates for Google Play Store

Go to Settings – Apps – All – Scroll down and select “Google Play Store” – Uninstall Updates

Now go on Google Play Store and try to install the app.
